Variable Auto Transformer Motorized Variac

Variable Transformers also known as Variac. Variacs are in demand Variable Voltage Transformers. This transformers are supplies AC power that are cheaper as well as more portable as compared to dual-winding transformers. Variable auto transformers have single winding it’s also known as primary winding and laminated magnetic core is wrapped around a primary winding. There’s carbon brush also known as movable wiper used to create an electrical connection with windings. The secondary connection is called common connection is used as one end of the winding and is tapped through carbon brush while moving on primary winding. The carbon brush moves as per transformers ration changes.
